Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Smoky Mountain Hydration provides wellness services. If you have an active viral infection and / or fever (unmedicated above 100.0 degrees in past 24 hours), we ask that you see your PCP or go to a walk-in clinic that provides sick care visits. When you are no longer contagious, but need a boost to get back on your feet and into your normal routine, we would be glad to see you to provide that wellness boost.
-
Walk-ins are no longer available for any services. All time availability is shown in our booking portal and appointment times as soon as 1 ½ hours from current time are shown if available.
All “paperwork” is also done digitally at time of first booking and updated annually.
To book your appointment, please click the BOOK NOW button at the top of the page.
-
Log into your account with Vagaro. You can use the app or click on the “Book Now” link at top of the page. Once you have signed in, you can view any upcoming appointments with the link on the bottom of the screen. Click the appointment you wish to change and follow steps.
-
To book an appointment, you need to create an account with your own unique email and password. No one else can use this email. If you didn't set a password when booking, click “forgot password” to get a temporary password sent to your email. If you’ve booked before with VAGARO at another salon or spa, use that same email and request a temporary password. Your info is stored online, so it must be protected with a password and unique account.
To help you in the future, you can download the VAGARO app in the app store and sign into your account there.

Most people are in and out in less than an hour. However, sometimes it may take a little longer to gain access with the IV so we recommend allotting at least 1.5 hours for your session.
-
Unfortunately, those with compromised hearts, lungs, or kidneys are not good candidates for IV Therapy with us. We do not provide urgent or emergency services and people with these concerns are best served in settings where fluids can be run much slower than we offer at Smoky Mountain Hydration.
-
We are open on some Saturdays. To see if there is a time available, please check online at “Book Now”. If you do not see a time, we are closed.
-
Although our business model did begin as a mobile service to Blount County and surrounding areas, we are NOT able to provide mobile services at this time. We do recommend Knox Drips (www.KnoxDrips.com) for mobile needs.
-
Because spending time with family is important to us, we are closed on holidays, unless otherwise announced. A good rule to follow is that if the bank is closed, we are closed as well. Please schedule appointments for days before or after holidays.
-
Yes! We have Medical Doctors (aka Medical Doctors) who provide Smoky Mountain Hydration and its RNs with the oversight, supervision, and protocols to safely administer our drips and shots! Our RNs can reach them whenever needed for questions or concerns.
-
TIRZepatide & SEMAglutide - These are medications that help to reduce cravings and slow digestion to help you make better food choices and reduce calories.
Fat Burner Injections - These injections are lipotropics which means that they help to redistribute the fat on your body and create flatter abdomen and leaner muscles. These are good for those on a diet and exercise program.
-
IV therapy is available to almost anyone aged 14 years and up! Our drips and shots help to optimize health and wellness with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, electrolytes, and more that may be missing or poorly absorbed from your diet.
-
Yes you can!
We like to keep the health and safety of you and your baby in mind.
Pregnant - We are able to offer you hydration and B vitamins with our Prenatal IV Blend. For any other add-ons, we do need to have your OB sign our Therapy Authorization form, available at the link above.
Breastfeeding - We can provide IV hydration, magnesium, zinc, and Zofran without your doctor’s authorization.
-
Some people can feel the benefits of their therapy within 10-15 minutes. For others it is a more gradual awareness of feeling better and having greater energy than before.
-
Like most things, it depends on the individual. Most experience noticeable benefits for 10-14 days.
-
We like to speak to our patients about their goals with therapy to create a customized plan for the individual. Therapy can be delivered weekly or less often if desired. We would love to discuss this with you!
-
We have switched to a Rewards app that allows individuals to earn discounts with first time IV visits and repeated visits. Memberships are also available for those who would like to recieve 10-15% off IVs with every visit.
-
Yes! We have CONSENTS that are required prior to each service provided. We also require that an INTAKE FORM be completed at the time of appointment creation or at least 3-4 hours prior to the start of your appointment. This allows time for proper review of your medical history and time for any needed consult with our Medical Directors for certain medical conditions. If these are not completed as requested, your appointment will be cancelled.
-
Yes we do. If weather or road conditions are unsafe for our staff and/or clients, we will be closed. We will try our best to announce on social media and our website as soon as a decision is made. We will also reach out to appointments that will be affected and assist with rescheduling for another day. If we open late due to weather and/or road conditions, those appointments affected will not be delayed but rather cancelled / rescheduled.
-
All memberships require a 3-month commitment. After a 3rd membership payment, you can cancel by logging into your Vagaro account. Autopayments will continue until you cancelled.
There are no refunds for products, services, memberships, or unused membership benefits. Any unused accumulated IV services will be lost after 6 months from date incurred.
-
All payments for services and products are due at time of purchase and final. We do not give refunds for products, services, memberships, or unused packages or membership benefits.
